Color and Images

Color Space​

For print output, prepare files in the expected color space (typically CMYK).

Blacks​

  • Use plain black for body text.
  • Use rich black only for large fills where you need deeper density.

Raster Images​

Use images with sufficient resolution at final size to avoid visible pixelation.

Transparency​

Flattening can change appearance (especially with overprints and blend modes). If you see artifacts after export, revisit your export settings in Exporting PDF.
